TPS Publishing Inc. and partners have constructed the 'Creative Science Curriculum with STEM, Literacy and Arts' program with the intent to enhance the Science learning and teaching in schools in your state.
Our Science program has been approached in the same manner, and with the same ideals, as our Mathematics program. Through adhering to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills break outs, the program presents Science as a way of thinking and learning, incorporating literacy skills necessary for academic success in acquiring Science as an academic language. Once again, the program has been built through a collaborative effort by several companies, each of which have expertise in Science instructional design. They share a commitment to activity-based instruction. The diversity of writers and perspectives ensures that the material is fully inclusive.
Written to accompany the Traditional Textbook, the Scientific Investigation and Reasoning Handbook addresses important safety needs of students and develops their essential Science skills.
This component supports the inquiry based nature of the program by developing the skills needed by the students to flourish in Science. Developing an inquisitive nature and being able to interpret what they see are vital qualities for any young Scientist.
