The Student Skills Books for Grades 3 – 8 are purpose built methodology handbooks for Teachers, Parents and Students. For each standard, the handbook provides clear and concise explanations of the math, worked examples, application of the standards, and examples for students to complete.
Written by teachers, for teachers, parents and students, the books can be utilized by each by providing clear explanations and methods for classroom or home use.
Structured to compliment the Common Core Math Standard clusters, each section of study lists the standards covered, and then is divided into four sections:
- Method – A clear explanation of the math studied, as well as clear methods for completing problems
- Examples – clear, structured, worked examples of the math studied for the standard
- Application – The math is applied to problem solving areas of study, extending understanding
- Questions – Example questions for students to complete. The Teacher Edition includes solutions to problems.
