Key Facts

TPS Publishing Inc. (TPS) do not use one textbook or digital only to deliver content. TPS offer an alternative style STEAM program, with hands-on projects, where students follow the DAPIC process. Students learn by doing. Students design, assess, plan, implement, and communicate, and lead investigations. Our Commitment and Belief: Students Learn Best By Doing – TPS IS A STEAM PROVIDER. 

  • There are three steps to success:
    • Student led investigation projects
    • Combined Strategies, teacher led lessons
    • STEM summative projects built by CeMaST, Illinois State University

TPS has integrated the content for Environmental Principles and new MLLs requirements throughout these components. However, in addition, TPS provides an Environmental Principles library to provide extensive content.

TPS provides a teacher’s toolbox with these 3 core components, together with online, interactive assessment tools, and libraries containing support materials, and afterschool content.  For example, the homework library, afterschool library, and reader activity books.

For Grades 6-8, TPS provide projects within Forensic science and engineering to excite students.

The projects provide continual visual and tactile assessments, and the arts projects are nasen approved. Research shows that STEM and Arts projects are inclusive and provide the very best opportunity for all students, and especially MLLs and special education students, to master content.

TPS provides implementation training for teachers and ongoing support throughout the school year.

An implementation/community guide is provided to ensure teachers, caregivers and students work together to maximise success.

Digital Access

TPS provide content as digital only or print with digital. Access for caregivers is provided at no additional cost.

Content integrates with most learning management systems, including Clever, Canvas, Google Classroom, Classlink, and Schoology.

 

Professional Development

TPS teacher writers offer ongoing support throughout the school year at no cost.
